The event kicks off on January 2nd, 2023 at 12pm ET and lasts 24 hours. You’ll have one whole day to get that second chance at some of the hottest leftover Limited Run games that we could dig up! But you’ll want to be on time; these leftovers are extremely limited in quantity and will go fast.

SO WHAT DO WE GOT?

Our annual Blowout Sale is made up solely of stock sourced from the deepest corners of our warehouse. These are leftovers from the original print runs for these titles, so once they’re gone, they’ll be gone for good!

That Blowout Sale staple, the BLIND BOX also makes its return in five wonderful flavors: Switch, PS4, PS5, Soundtrack, and PS4 SteelBook. These include leftovers of some of the rarest and most exclusive Limited Run releases, so crack one open and see what’s inside.

HOW LIMITED IS LIMITED?

It’s pretty limited. Our annual Blowout Sale is stocked exclusively with leftover stock in extremely low quantities. And we mean low. Some games will have less than 100 with only tens of copies available.

Even when we have many leftover copies of a game or collector’s edition, remember that THOUSANDS of other fans will be flocking to the site at the same time. If you have your heart set on a copy of VA-11 HALL-A or a Scott Pilgrim K.O. Edition, make sure you get there early, have your credit card out, and work fast. TRAFFIC CONTROL IS ON!

Our Blowout sale is the biggest day for our website every year, and we want to make sure that this influx of traffic is fair and well-managed (and doesn’t break our beautiful digital home). Our virtual checkout queue helps control the traffic, allowing orders to get processed one at a time, resulting in fewer errors and ensuring that whoever grabs a game and checks out first is the one that gets it. To even the playing field, we’ve also instituted limits on our most high-demand items. 

BUT WHEN DO THE SALE ITEMS SHIP?

Most of our items will be dispatched from our warehouse ASAP. Because these items are left over from their original print runs, they are in hand and ready to go, with the exception of the blind boxes. Items chosen to go into blind boxes have been sent out to get dressed up in our all-new packaging, so there will be extra processing time for these items. However, we expect all of them to be shipped out by the end of Q1 2023.

CAN I ADD A CURRENT PRE-ORDER TO MY CART?

This year, we’ve made the decision to turn off active pre-orders for the entire 24 hours of our Blowout Sale. We don’t want our customers to have to wait on a different item to finish production before they can enjoy a game that’s already here. Don’t worry! Pre-orders will go back on the site at 12pm ET the next day, so you won’t miss out.
