PlatinumGames and Limited Run Games to collaborate on a physical release of SOL CRESTA

PlatinumGames and Limited Run Games are excited to announce their first collaboration, a physical release of the 2D retro-style shooter SOL CRESTA for Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4! Pre-orders begin February 4, 2022 at 10AM EST and conclude on March 20, 2022.
SOL CRESTA is the latest entry in the classic CRESTA series, which originally debuted in arcades in 1980 with MOON CRESTA. Hideki Kamiya serves as the game’s Creative Director, known for masterpiece titles BAYONETTA, OKAMI, Viewtiful Joe, Devil May Cry and Resident Evil 2. Takanori Sato, who previously helmed The Wonderful 101: Remastered, serves as the game’s general director. The game’s soundtrack is composed by the legendary Yuzo Koshiro, known for masterpieces like Streets of Rage and Etrian Odyssey.
The physical release of SOL CRESTA will come in two forms: a Standard Edition containing the game itself, as well as a decked-out Collector’s Edition featuring goodies co-designed by PlatinumGames and Limited Run.
